Can I clear the check engine light? What do I have to do for that?

Yes, that's one of the awesome features that the My Mechanic app has to offer. If you fix something yourself like a loose gas cap, or an air filter that was clogged up with leaves, press the “clear all engine codes”. If all is good, the light will stay off, and you're good to go!

However, if it goes off, and then comes right back on, you know that you have something else on your hands that requires the attention of a mechanic. It's advised that if you don't have an easy fix (e.g. some leaves under the hood or a loose gas cap), you take it into a mechanic.
