My girlfriend’s car broke down on the way to the lake, so AAA towed us... read more My girlfriend’s car broke down on the way to the lake, so AAA towed us to this repair shop. We did know it was the alternator that was shot and possibly more, but when we were quoted $270 for just the part (not including labor) from O'Reilly, we knew we were about to get taken for a ride. They must have thought we had stupid written across our foreheads. We decided not to go with their service and had the car towed home. We went to O'Reilly's and got the part we needed for $170 "which was their most expensive" and did the work ourselves. Fortunately that was the only problem and the car was fixed for under $200. If this is the same shop with the Sinclair gas station; (I’m almost certain it is) then we can’t help but wonder how much the total would have been. Do yourself a big favor to your checkbook and stay away!!

They are in this entirely for the money. Run! I went to another repair shop when they tried to upcharge me for a rental when I found out there are local parts available. run run run!!
