He was even able to point out some common failure points on the R56’s so that I can keep an eye out and have them repaired before major damage will occur. One of the folks at our local autocross recommended that I go and see Ian(owner) at Maitland Importers. He sat down with me, and being an avid autocrosser himself, reviewed what class I was building the car for, and what my goals were. He worked out a very comprehensive motor build for me, and still came in cheaper than a factory drop in motor from Mini. I am amazed, and I cannot say enough positive things about Ian and his team. Anything my little mini needs will be handled by these guys from now on!
The oil sending unit in my wife's truck broke and pumped out most of t... read more The oil sending unit in my wife's truck broke and pumped out most of the oil in the engine. Thankfully there was Mobil 1 in the engine. Mark found the problem quickly and fixed it, changed the oil and she's back in service. Mark is very intelligent, knowledgable and has always been very honest in his dealings.
