Work done was excellent as always. However, the quote of $350 to change the ignition switch is way over the top. I changed it myself in less than a half hour in my driveway in the cold.

Great, professional. Goes beyond servicing my cars. They often gives me a ride home and pick me up. WOW! That’s personal service bonus.

You had my VW bug for several days, I paid your shop $500 to fix a problem that was never fixed. I brought it in a second time, you kept the car for several more days, never calling to update me, and you still did not fix it the problem, said you couldn't recreate the problem, even though we told you it was an intermittent problem. The car continued to have the same problem, causing my daughter to be put into a dangerous situation. My husband, who has never worked on a VW in his life, did 1 hour of research, ordered a part, and fixed it within 2-3 hours on delivery of the part. Your shop staff was very friendly, I know you all work very long hours. We however will not come back. 500$ spent with nothing to show for it is ridiculous. I feel that if your staff went a little above just "pulling a code", you would have figured the problem out. Again, my husband did 1 hour of research on a car he's never worked on, on youtube. AND....the car's problem has never returned. We have been driving it successfully without problems for 3 months now.

battery replacement
Hillside Auto Repair helped me out in a pinch, even coming to my house to pick up my car! They did a full check, replaced my battery, and I had my car back the very next day. Honest, affordable, fast, and truly exceptional customer service. Hillside has earned my future business. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Hillside Auto Repair have always been more then professional. They are honest and truthful with the work that needs to be done. They also are very affordable and fair with their pricing. Professional, Honest, Truthful, Affordable and Fair all things that you normal don't say about a mechanic shop. Well you just haven't been to the right shop yet!
