To be fair and reasonable, I will state only the facts of the terrib... read more To be fair and reasonable, I will state only the facts of the terrible experience I received at the hands of Justin and Jim while my vehicle was being serviced at Elliot's Auto in Willis, Texas. Being new to the area, I had my jeep towed to the facility because a pulley was locked up and causing a belt to squeal. I stated a few things about the vehicle that I knew needed repair, but only authorized the repair of the cause of the squealing. The mechanic diagnosed the vehicle and presented a list of repairs almost identical to the list I presented them, with exception of a tune up & oil change that he felt the jeep needed. ($140) The alternator was installed at over $200 for the part, which after researching found to be priced at several local auto parts stores for $124.95. The tow was $85 and was,in my opinion, the only reasonable charge. After speaking to a few of the local residents familiar with Elliot's Auto, I feel like I would have received a better service elsewhere. Service: Tow to shop One alternator installed Charge: $460
