The week after I pick up my RV I left on a 7 hour family vacation New Year’s road trip. RV freshly out of the shop – so I felt confident in the RV mechanically. I was wrong… Shortly after leaving for my trip the entire wheel/rim broke off the lugs causing undercarriage damage, frame damage, and underskirt damage. Not to mention the rim was damage beyond repair. I have never seen anything like it. The roadside mechanic that was gracious enough to help me on his day off, the day after Christmas, was baffled. In his 26 years as a master mechanic he had never seen anything like it. After some investigation we figured out Nichols RV left lug nuts loose causing the lugs to snap completely off. The mechanic found more loose lug nuts on the other side. I can’t imagine if this would have happened on both sides at highway speeds. The negligence of this shop could have ended deadly for my family. Thank goodness no one was hurt. I personally would not trust Nichols RV again. Management was not willing to do anything for me other than apologize. I cannot in good faith recommend this shop to anyone. Working with any mechanic where I personally feel obligated to double check their work is not one I will trust with the life of my family.

Advertise that there is fishing but does not tell you that it is catch and release. People who living in the park does and in a very rude way. Man introduced himself as the owner of the park was very rude because some of us were fishing. There were no signs posted nor were we given rules from the office. The office stated to the wagon master that this was not in effect so who the people that introduced himself as the owner were. Will not bring a rally back to this park because of the rudeness and also because of all the police activity on the Sunday before our departure. The activity was around the person RV that ID himself as the owner. One person was handcliffed and there were six sheriff cars at the site.
