There was a time I needed some major engine work, and they quoted me over 5 grand to do something that I got an independent mechanic to do for about 1500, including parts. I will only go there as a matter of convenience now and for smaller repairs. Anything major, bring it elsewhere. I would love to give Steve at Southcross the business, but he prices himself out of the market.

Luckly it was under warranty. And they handled the whole thing, they also fixed it in a timely manner as well. I recommend them for any service you need on your cars.
I had never used a body shop on my own but have been to one that my in... read more I had never used a body shop on my own but have been to one that my insurance covered and I had no choice of location. I was a bit nervous about using Oscars because they didn’t have any negative reviews. In the end I wanted to support a local shop so I chose them. I have NO REGRET. They explained everything in detail, offered a few options for a solution, sent me pics since I was out of town, and were able to complete the work within the estimated time frame. I feel good about the transaction and recommend them highly. Though I hope to not need their service again, if I am that unfortunate I will definitely go back to Oscars without a second thought.
