    In February 2013 the owner of this business left my Jeep in an unsecur... read more In February 2013 the owner of this business left my Jeep in an unsecured lot a few doors down from his shop where the doors and windows were stolen. He claimed not to have noticed that it had doors. He then posted a sign in his pig pen of an office saying he wasn't responsible for items lost or stolen. I had to take him to small claims court and the judge sided with him. I'm fairly sure it's because he's a former employee of the sheriff's department. Small town politics...what are we going do? Don't take your car here, but if you do, protect yourself beforehand with evidence you may need later.

This same situation happened before when we were in California. The diagnostic code indicates a problem with the camshaft. California and Arizona dealers told us we would likely have to replace the can shaft and charged us $800 to take the car apart only to find nothing wrong. One year later, this same issue happened again. Chuck Hutton Toyota took a much more practical approach. The mechanic ran the diagnostic and got the same code. He then listened to the car and inspected it. The mechanic talked to us directly. He recommended we continue on our way as it was likely just a sensor issue again. He didn't hear or see anything funny. He reset the lights and then told us what to do if it came on again. We left with a print out of the code and a diagnostic reading of the car. They didn't charge us a cent! We are so appreciative of the service provided at Chuck Hutton Toyota.
