I've been going to Chapel Hill Tire for 35 + years, and have always had absolutely fantastic service. I know that the professionals at CHT always give me the best advice for my wallet, not their own. I literally chose to sell one vehicle and purchase another based on their insight and experience. Their honesty has saved me huge amounts of money over the years. Today I was fortunate enough to work with Bucky. It was a simple inspection, but they were packed with those of us who had procrastinated until the last moment. Despite it being 5:00 on New Years Eve, and even though I'm sure everyone was exhausted and just wanted to get home and start their holiday evening, Bucky and his team kept working, helping folks with assorted issues, and solving problems with care and great good humor. Forget the dealerships. We have had auto service at countless shops, national chains, garages and dealerships over many years. None one can even come close to the personal service, convenience, professionalism, honesty, experience, friendliness and knowledge you will find at Tri-City. I'd give them more stars if that were an option. The prices are reasonable, you get what you pay for and if it's not right (seldom) they'll make it right. Love their coupons too.

So grateful for this service, the ease and convenience of it and how helpful Natalie and Brent were! Plus, I overdid it slightly on the services I ordered and Brent explained what I needed, what I actually didn't and why. I was grateful for that and makes me feel this is a company I can trust and highly recommend to all my friends! From booking online to the time my services were complete, was just over 24 hours. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!! DO NOT, DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT call these people for service! This is a scam! My husband sent this guy Chris to me to fix my car because I broke down in Greensboro NC. He came out to fix my car and said he needed the money to go get the part. I gave him $250 and never came back to fix my car! He immediately stopped answering his phone! He also have a female riding with him so that you can't go with him. He have fake reviews all made by him from fake pages that he made himself to boost his rating! I'm at the moment still stranded in Greensboro NC. I'm finding out that he has been doing this to people for years!

DMV Inspections Officer confirmed lighting brightness test yielding a "RED" reading was in fact a failing mark on the NC Inspection. Not sure why Dennis chose to take such an item to the web, to BBB and to the NC Attorney General. All of which agreed with the failing of the NC Inspection.

I don’t usually write reviews but really wanted to show my appreciation for a job well done. I waited a few weeks after getting my car repaired to make sure it continued to run well before writing a review about it. I kept waiting for it to struggle up a hill as it did before, but it is running smoothly. Accurate Transmissions in Durham was a little out of my way, but they came highly recommended. I have an older model Honda and was afraid that my car had completely died and that I would have to buy another car, for which I didn’t want to have a car payment. The mechanic (and I believe the owner) offered to have me towed. He told me some other things needed repaired along with the transmission work. I knew that his assessment was authentic because he didn’t want to take a chance on making some of the other repairs himself, so I knew he wasn’t trying to sell those repairs to me. My Honda is running great! I’m so excited that I took a chance to have my car repaired and didn’t give up hope on it. It was a much better option having the transmission repairs instead of having another car payment, or forking out cash on another car. Accurate Transmissions also kept me current on the repair process. I highly recommend this shop.
