15 years go I found Sonny's shop in Nassau with a parking lot full of ... read more 15 years go I found Sonny's shop in Nassau with a parking lot full of Porsches. I was very glad to find such an honest and dependable mechanic, especially since servicing these cars is usually expensive. He has always done the right thing for me, and is reasonably priced considering his skill level and the cars he works on. I went away for a few years to go to school, get married, and have kids, and was very pleased to see him still in business! He's got my car right now, and I'm excited to get it back once he gets it straight again. I would trust him with anything that moves.
My Audi broke down in Westbury (20 miles from my home and local techs)... read more My Audi broke down in Westbury (20 miles from my home and local techs) with coolant leaking from the back of the engine. I took a chance and had it towed to WDE. The guys there, Joe, Leo and Oscar were incredible. They diagnosed the problem - punctured heater hose in half an hour. They had to move aside plastic flex hoses that broke due to age - so they had to be fixed too. Bottom line, from the tow-in @12:30PM on a Tues. to pickup @11AM Wed. they had the car done; parts used were OEM from a reputable distributor, they showed me all the old parts and the job was done by a tech that knew what he was doing! The price was more than fair. If you live in Westbury and need an honest, knowledgeable and fairly priced auto repair shop, I highly recommend the guys at WDE
